Simulated Game Shooting in Cornwall

Our Simulated Game Shooting in Cornwall is a full day of shooting and hospitality on the cliffs at PorthKerris, which is on the Lizard near St Keverne.

These Simulated Game Shooting Days are led by host and experienced shooting instructor Glynn Abbott and his associate Gary Fox, who looks after the traps side of the operation. It is a relaxed shoot with the emphasis on enjoyment with friends, there isn’t a formal dress code. Non-shooting partners are also welcome to come along.

2.30pm
Suitably refreshed after lunch we move to drives 5 and 6. These are our signature drives showing clays at approximately 165 feet (50m). You can expect to finish the day’s shooting at around 4.30pm, but we’re very relaxed and no-one is rushed.

Cartridges are FIBRE wad only, which we will have available on the day if needed. You can expect to use 400-600 cartridges per gun during the day’s shooting, depending on how keen you are – our record is 878 by one gun!

Due to the coastal location we are limited to teams of up to 12 people for the shooting, standing two on a peg.

Fees
Minimum charge £2,000 per day (e.g. 10 guns = £200 per gun).
If there are 12 people shooting, then 12 guns are charged at £185 each = £2,220.
Non-shooting partners are charged at £30 per person for hospitality.

*You can choose to have something light for lunch and then a full meal at the bistro at Porthallow at the end of the shoot. Or you can choose a full, sustaining lunch at the shooting site, and make your own arrangements later. We will plan the day around your specific requirements.
